I witnessed this brother in action at the APNC Conference and all I can say is, “Let’s goooooo!” Him and Khrecia facilitated a session called, “Recovery Ain't for Everybody.” I appreciate them being willing to share on the topic and raising awareness about the disparities in the behavioral health space. We need brothers like J at the table, he has a wealth of knowledge, the passion, and as a young leader, the ENERGY to go hard for the underdogs!! Thanks for all you do, comrade!

 Mr. Harris spoke in Omaha for the Omaha Collegiate Consortium and University of Nebraska at Omaha Recovery Community in July of 2019. Mr. Harris did an excellent job of fitting the needs of the group. Mr. Harris was engaging, energetic, and adaptable. He showed a thorough knowledge of recovery communities and gave plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We had a wide range of knowledge on recovery communities in the group being trained, and he was able to relate to all of those groups. I would highly recommend having Mr. Harris present to your group.

The Message

I had the opportunity to watch one of his keynote addresses at a collegiate recovery conference in Philadelphia. He educated and thoroughly lifted the engaged the crowd. I am a speaker by trade and I understand the difficulty in addressing any crowd. He had the gift to change the thinking and uplift the crowds spirit. Students are attracted to his energy and they respect his craft. Any institution that brings him in to address their population will be better served in the long run. He is real, educational, and motivational!

I was the chair of the planning committee of a regional recovery conference and J was our keynote speaker. Working with him was great! Leading up to the event, J was very quick to respond and listened to our goals and needs. He brought all his own materials and arrived early to check out the space.
